The aim of this paper is to explore the power of an organization or company and the importance of its leadership. The work is based on the fact that leadership is one of the most important factors in the success and power of any type of organization or company. Namely, although all functions within an organization or company are equally important, without good leadership all other functions w ould be unachievable. Due to numerous changes in modern business, organizations and companies are restructuring their operations, as well as their internal environment. The above also applies to key persons, leaders, who break away from traditional ways of leadership and increasingly turn to modern approaches. Contemporary leaderships, which can belong to different styles, are oriented towards employees, consumers, changes. The most successful leaders tend to master several different approaches, and apply t he appropriate one depending on the situation and the needs of the organization or company. This paper examines which five key trends in modern leadership characterize leadership, and thus a successful leader, and for the purpose of creating this thesis, e mpirical research was conducted on the main subject of the work, which showed that in addition to the application of modern trends, leaders must also apply other skills to be successful.
