Abstract
U ovome radu naglasak će biti na mjesto i ulogu radija u Domovinskom ratu. Radio je imao jednu od glavnih uloga u ovoj izvanrednoj i nepovoljnoj situaciji. S obzirom na svoj doseg i mogućnost korištenja ovog medija on je bio u središtu pozornosti kroz cijelo trajanje rata. Imajući u vidu situaciju koja je prethodila ovom događaju, radijski reporteri imali su izuzetno kompliciran zadatak kako prenositi i iznositi informacije, a da u tom trenutku ne prenesu informaciju od presudne vojne važnosti koja bi mogla naštetiti zacrtanim planovima. Radio kao masovni medij imao je i ulogu podizanja morala stanovnika uz razne emisije i glazbene programe koje je tek trebalo oblikovati.
Abstract (english)
In this paper main focus will be on the place and role of the radio in the Domestic war in Croatia. Radio had one of the key places in this unfavorable and emergency situation. Having in mind the reach of the radio and the possibility of using this media it had been in the center of attention during the whole stretch of the war. Looking at the situation that preceded this event, radio reporters had extremely complicated task how to get the message trough and what information to reveal and at what point not to reveal some sensitive military information that could turn the tides of war. Radio as a part of mass media world had the role of increasing the moral of the population trough different programs but also with music programs and songs aimed to unite the people and give them courage and strength in these difficult times.
