Abstract
Turističku ponudu Hrvatske, pogotovo u ruralnim područjima je potrebno proširiti, stoga se smatra da je ribolovni turizam idealno riješenje da se ruralna područja krenu razvijati u smjeru turizma ali i da razvijene turistčke ddestinacije upotpune ponudu novim oblicima turizma. Cilj ovog rada je analizirati ribolovni turizam i njegov utjecaj na razvoj destinacija te izložiti ideje za unaprijeđenje ribolovonog turizma u Hrvatskoj kako bi se iskoristio veliki potencijal koji je zanemaren. Educiranjem i uključivanjem lokalnog stanovništva destinacije u ribolovni turizam bi se mogli postići dobri rezultati, jer se ribolov više nebi smatrao kao povremeni izvor hrane već kao održivi izvor turističkog proizvoda i ponude, ako se njime dobro upravlja. Razvijanjem ribolovnog turizma se također smanjuje masovni turizam te njegov negativan utjecaj na turističku destinaciju i njezine resurse.
Abstract (english)
The tourist offer of Croatia, especially in rural areas, needs to be expanded, so it is considered that fishing tourism is an ideal solution for rural areas to start developing in the direction of tourism, but also for developed tourist destinations to complete the offer with new forms of tourism. The aim of this paper is to analyze fishing tourism and its impact on destination development and to present ideas for improving fishing tourism in Croatia in order to use the great potential that has been neglected. By educating and involving the local population of the destination in fishing tourism, good results could be achieved, because fishing would no longer be considered as an occasional source of food but as a sustainable source of tourism product and supply, if well managed. The development of fishing tourism also reduces mass tourism and its negative impact on the tourist destination and its resources.
