Abstract
U ovom se radu govori o komunikacijskim vještinama zagrebačkog gradonačelnika Milana Bandića te na koji način komunicira s medijima i javnostima. Njegove retoričke sposobnosti su izrazito kvalitetne s jasnim političkim porukama, te zanimljivim i prepoznatljivim govornim stilom. Miješanjem raznih dijalekata, Bandić se pokušava približiti raznim slojevima biračkoga tijela, a kroz političku karijeru fokusiran je na „malog čovjeka“. Primjerima stručnjaka (i savjetima) ukazat ćemo na glavne karakteristike koje govornik mora posjedovati u javnim nastupima te ćemo ih uklopiti u analizu gradonačelnikovih metoda uvjeravanja.
Abstract (english)
This thesis discusses the communication skills of Zagreb‘s Mayor Milan Bandić and the manners in which he utilizies them for the purpose of communicating with the mass media and public. His rhetorical capabilities are exceptionally profound with clear political connotations, combined with an appealing verbal style. Incoroporating a variety of dialects in his public speech, Bandić‘s intentions were to persuade and impact a broad selection of the eligable voting population which singled him out as a unique spokesman. Furthermore, throughout his political ventures he was predominantly focused on the “average citizen“. With examples from experts in this field I will attempt to point out the main characteristics a quality orator has to posses in public speeches and will analyze them to show the full extent of the Mayors methods of public persuasion.
