Abstract
Corporate Social Responsibility / Društveno odgovorno poslovanje je pojam koji je postao sastavni dio globalnog života. Pod različitim imenima i aktivnostima postoji kroz povijest i moglo bi se reći da seže do onog trenutka kada je čovjek poželio bolju sliku svijeta oko sebe. Zadnjih godina ta ideja je postala općenita društvena praksa i u mnogim poduzećima pametna strategija. Kako ističu Philip Kotler and Nancy Lee: "U posljednjem desetljeću, trendovi ukazuju na povećanje korporativnog davanja, povećana korporativna izvješća o inicijativama društvene odgovornosti, uspostavljanje korporativnih društvenih normi da učine dobro te očit prijelaz od davanja kao obveza davanja u odnosu na davanje kao određene strategije". (Kotler, Lee, 2005)
Abstract (english)
Corporate Social Responsibility is a concept that has become an integral part of global life. It has appeared throughout history under various names and for various activities and it can be said that it reaches as far back as when mankind first wished to see a better picture of the world around him. In recent years, this concept or idea has become a general social practice in many companies with smart strategies as well. As Philip Kotler and Nancy Lee point out: "In the last decade, directional signals point to increased corporate giving, increased corporate reporting on social responsibility initiatives, the establishment of a corporate social norm to do good, and an apparent transition from giving as an obligation to giving as a strategy. "(Kotler, Lee, 2005) This thesis analyses the concept of CSR in the global organizational and national context and its overall positive impact on society.
